Our goal is to expose clients from all over the world to Pinehurst and to Scotland and give them a first class experience. McKinlay Golf Travel was founded in 2009 after founder Gordon McKinlay spent 6 years taking members of his club and other local private club members to his native Scotland and Pinehurst. “Living and working as a golf Professional in the Pinehurst area has opened my eyes to exactly what the traveling golfer requires”. MGT will take care of every detail from experiences caddies to personal chefs to what kind of scotch you prefer. We have a variety of accommodations available ranging from 6 bedroom houses to condos and preferred hotels. We also have experienced Concierge drivers who can chauffeur you around your entire vacation. Co- president Tyson Pedacchio who is also a golf Professional and has been involved with the game all his life has expert knowledge on the Pinehurst area and other American golfing destinations. We want our clients to experience the best golf courses in the best condition and feel a connection with the local people and history. MGT unlike any other travel company has the connections to even set up matches with members of the club you are playing. Past experiences in Scotland proved to be the most popular way to visit golf clubs. Members of my club still stay in touch with Gentlemen they forged relationships with from over the Pond. Due to the intimate nature of MGT, Gordon or Tyson can accompany your group if you have an odd number. We would be happy to organize your games within the group and even offer some swing tips throughout the trip.
