Gordon McKinlay – Founder Co-President
Born: Greenock, Scotland
Gordon was raised in the famous golf town of Troon, Scotland. Son to a father who has been a PGA Golf Professional for over 30 years. Had a successful amateur career capped by becoming the youngest ever winner of the Troon Welbeck Men’s Club Championship (1997) and representing his high School and Country at Schoolboy level (1998). Gordon also played and captained his University to back to back top 4 finishes in the UK finals.
Graduated with a bachelors degree in Golf management from Buckinghamshire University in London. Turned Golf Professional in 2004 after working for Pinehurst Resort and currently works at National Golf Club.
Interests include Golf, soccer, football, rugby, fitness and travel.
Gordon currently resides in Pinehurst, North Carolina with his wife Allyson and son Gavin.
