Old Growth Cottage - Pinehurst
McKinlay Golf Travel’s growing reputation within the golf travel business has taken another positive step forward with the partnership of the Old Growth Cottage team. This beautiful home which comfortably sleeps 18 people is truly the best of the best in the Pinehurst area.
"Old Growth Cottage" was built as an executive entertainment house for customer outings or just for a large group of golfing buddies.

Each of the 9 bedrooms has 2 twin beds and their own private bath. You can seat 30 people for dinner in the dining room. The OGC comes with a private chef at your request. Chef Wallace has an impressive resume which included the executive chef at Forest Creek Golf Club. Kick back and relax while Wallace cooks you and your party a meal to remember. The massive entertainment room has 3 fully stocked bar areas, a professional pool table and a poker table. An eight seat theater room is adjacent to the bar area. There is also a computer room that is accessible to clients.
A unique feature to the house is the cigar room that overlooks the enclosed courtyard from its glass floor. It is vented separately from the non smoking house with its own AC and smoke filter. It comes with a humidor stacked with the very best cigars all which are included in the per night cost.
The house is located within the gated community of Forest Creek Country Club www.forestcreekgolfclub.com in Pinehurst on the 11th fairway of the South Course. You have your own private bent grass green with sand traps that is maintained by the golf course on a daily basis.
A chipping target and fire pit is also enclosed in the courtyard. Both areas are lit at night. There is also a private 10 person hot tub to unwind in after a days golf.
