The Home Of Golf

Scotland is known worldwide as producing and exporting the finest Whisky known to man but it is the invention of the game of golf that gives the country the most notoriety.
‘Gowf’ as it was originally spelled was first played in the early 14th century on the links grounds of St Andrews in the Kingdom of Fife.
The home of Golf should be experienced by every golf enthusiast at least once in their life time. For people that have visited they know what I talking about. There is a strange but wonderful feeling standing on the first tee at the Old Course knowing every man that shaped the game we know today has stuck a drive from that very spot.
