Thanks for planning my recent trip to Scotland. It truly was a trip of a lifetime. Your suggestions of using St. Andrews and Troon as our home bases and splurging for a driver (perfect for 8 golfers...our driver, Tom from Rowan Travel, was incredible. My friends who went with on the trip gave me kudos for "planning" such a great vacation when all of the credit should go to you. Cheers.

" Gordon looked after all the golf details for our group of 8's first trip to Pinehurst and everything was Perfect. Gordon had a tough act to follow as last year we played Pebble but the guys had an even better time. Top courses - Pinehurst #2, #4, National, Dormie, Pine Needles, Pine Wild and tee off times exactly as requested. Very smooth. Gordon also recommended a # of restaurants and again all Perfect !!! ... We've already booked our accomodation for next April. Thanks Gordon Great Job !!!

The visit to Pinehurst by 8 members of
Royal Troon has been described by a number of them as "the trip of a
lifetime". In practical terms everything which we asked of McKinlay
travel was delivered with something to spare. All arrangements worked
as planned. Tee times worked perfectly. McKinlay Travel obviously has
first class relationships with the local courses and professionals, we
were made to feel very welcome and extremely well looked after at all
six courses we played.
In addition we were collected and returned to
Raleigh Durham airport by McKinlay Travel and dining reservations were
made on request.
All in all a first class golfing experience and I
would commend McKinlay Travel to any golfer/group contemplating a golf
holiday.

Our annual outing migrated to the wonderful city of Pinehurst NC this year. The arrangements organized by a young Scot Gordon Mckinlay(mckinlaygolftravel.com).
8 rounds in 5 days pretty much settled the question of golf supremacy … the victor? golf. Gordon assembled a wonderful range of golf challenges starting with the ultra unique Tobacco Road(a course outlawed in 49 states) and ending with an early morning test at National(in time to catch an afternoon flight). Our journey included Talamore, Pinehurst and Pinewild. Gordon’s contacts provided great times, locations and price. The 3 bedroom condo, in the Pinehurst complex, was perfectly located to the courses and the local harness track restaurant for breakfast. We missed any morning wakeup calls from the nearby green, an casualty of early tee-times.
Thanks Gordon for the arrangements.
We took serious note or your “Golf Scotland” comments and just may be thinking of a future ”Old Course” trip.

Gordon,
McKinley Golf Travel arranged an excellent golf trip to Scotland for my son and I in August 2009. The golf courses, accommodations and transportation were all first class. I have recommended McKinlay Golf Travel to a number of my friends in Canada.

“McKinlay Golf Travel provided me with one of the most memorable golfing experiences of my life. They couldn’t have made our trip to Scotland any more relaxing and enjoyable. Their customized golf package provided us safe transportation and superb hospitality at some of the most exclusive golf clubs in Scotland. I have already recommended McKinlay Golf Travel to friends, family and business colleagues because of their professionalism, knowledge and outstanding service in the golf travel industry.”

Our recent trip to Scotland could not, in a word, have been "better"! While Gordon could not control the weather, everything else seemed to be well within his control in making sure the trip was not only well organized from every perspective but that every attention to detail was given to ensure the experience was special. In short, Gordon not only knows golf, he knows Scotland and that chemistry was the key to our most memorable trip!

A most enjoyable trip again to Scotland. Without your work and assitance it would not have been possible, even to the point of your watching my golf swing at the Old Course and North Berwick, nice 70. The accomodations were more than adequate, especially South Beach Hotel. The golf was all I could ask for, only wish there had been more time for more golf. Also, the one day of Scottish history was a nice touch. Again, thanks for a trip many should make at least once in their life and I look forward to another sometime in the future.
